Privacy and Data Policy
Thank you for using CodeAuth!
We’re committed to being fully transparent about the information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it secure.
Data policy
When you sign up for a CodeAuth account, we collect your email address. CodeAuth does not share any personal data with third parties except when required for the service to function properly. This information is only collected during account registration and only if the user enters it voluntarily. We do not store any personal information about your visits that is not explicitly provided.
By registering at CodeAuth, the user is deemed to have given consent to the processing of their personal data. Registration and account creation are not possible without submitting the required information. Providing personal data is both a contractual requirement and a condition necessary to enter into a contract. If the user does not provide the requested information, a business relationship with CodeAuth cannot be established, and services cannot be performed.
CodeAuth processes personal data based on the following legal grounds:
The data subject has given consent to the processing of their data.
Processing is necessary to perform a contract with the data subject and to take steps toward the conclusion of a business relationship.
Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which CodeAuth is subject. This includes data that CodeAuth is required to retain or provide under tax and accounting regulations.
How long we retain your data
Personal data will be removed after the contract ends or the user’s account is deregistered. If there are any outstanding liabilities, CodeAuth will retain the necessary personal data to exercise its legal rights until all payments have been settled. Personal data included in tax and accounting documents will be retained for the period required under applicable tax and accounting regulations.
How we protect your data
CodeAuth take strong measures to protect your data by using the latest encryption methods and ensuring that sensitive information. Encrypted traffic and communication are used across all critical parts of our system to ensure the safety of your data at every step. For added security, your credit card details are never stored on our servers. Instead, we rely on Stripe, one of the most secure payment providers, to process and store your billing information safely.
Withdrawal of consent
The data subject has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. The withdrawal applies only to data processed on the basis of consent. It does not affect data processed as necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or data required to comply with legal obligations to which CodeAuth is subject.
